Built on the scaffold, not in a lab
KwikTape comes from Accurate Color-Coded Masonry Concepts — a small Massachusetts shop founded by Mike Cahalane, an experienced mason. The whole idea grew out of the daily hassle and confusion of marking off courses by hand.
It's a simple, honest tool made by someone who has stood behind the line and wanted layout to go faster. That's still who you reach when you call.

Each color is a joint-spacing scale based on standard 2-1/4″ brick: Yellow (#2) is 2-1/2″ on center, Red (#3) 2-9/16″, Green (#4) 2-5/8″, Blue (#5) 2-11/16″, and Orange (#6) 2-3/4″ on center.
Standard rolls are 1″ wide × 105′ (about 101 uses). A 2″ wide × 105′ roll is also available in red, green and blue for inside and outside 90° story-pole corners.
